Dr. Rev. Anthony Kwame Mensah brings over 30 years of multidisciplinary experience spanning eight industries — Healthcare, Education, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Finance, Transportation, and Insurance — across three continents.

For nearly a decade, Dr. Mensah has served as Founder and Lead Professor of Breakthrough Academy Corporation, an online Healthcare Sterile Processing Training School affiliated with the New Jersey Department of Labor’s Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL). He holds a Ph.D. in Data Science with a specialization in Business and Healthcare Analytics and Infection Control from the National University in California. His academic portfolio also includes an M.Sc. in Data Science (Business Analytics) from Saint Peter’s University, New Jersey; an MBA in Finance from Central University, Ghana; and a B.A. in Business Economics from University of Ghana, Legon.

He is certified by the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) in Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL), Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER), Certified Surgical Instrument Specialist (CIS), and Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST). With nearly 15 years in Healthcare Sterile Processing, Dr. Mensah has worked at University Hospital (Newark, NJ), Saint Barnabas Medical Center (Livingston, NJ), and Mountainside Hospital (Montclair, NJ), and at the management level at Staten Island University Hospital (NY), University of Maryland Medical Center (Baltimore, MD), and Elmhurst Hospital and Queens Hospital Center (NY).

As CEO of Breakthrough Academy Corporation, Dr. Mensah represents the institution to stakeholders, oversees strategic and financial decisions, and drives organizational growth. He is also the lead instructor for Healthcare Central Sterile Processing and Data Analytics courses, guiding candidates through rigorous test preparation and global board certifications. In addition to his healthcare and educational work, Dr. Mensah is a Professor of Computer Science at Union College of New Jersey and a Data Scientist with Centene Corporation.

Dr. Mensah is married, blessed with three children and two grandchildren. He is widely recognized as an astute entrepreneur, educator, and faith leader whose career bridges healthcare, technology, business, and ministry.
